Last school year, I got remarried which also meant relocation and spent the entire year (2010-2011) searching for a special education teaching job. I applied for over 300 positions in the state of Georgia. Because of having a Bachelor's, and Master's in Special Education as well as an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I do realize that the economy is extremely tight but it was extremely frustrating to not be able to secure employment and to have 16 years of experience, and advanced degrees as well.
